Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PlumberArchive ("we", "us", "our"), operated at plumberarchive.com. By creating an account, starting a free trial, or subscribing to our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use PlumberArchive.

1. Service Description

PlumberArchive is an online directory that lists licensed plumbing businesses across the United States, enabling homeowners and property managers to find and contact local plumbing professionals.

Our service to plumbing businesses includes:

• A public-facing business profile page showing your business name, contact details, service area, services offered, and customer reviews
• Inclusion in city and state directory pages indexed by search engines
• A listing in our website's search results, visible to visitors searching by city or state
• A direct link to your website and/or social media profiles (where provided)

PlumberArchive is a listing and discovery platform only. We do not facilitate transactions, bookings, or payments between homeowners and plumbers, and we are not a party to any agreement between them.

2. Eligibility

To subscribe to PlumberArchive as a listed business, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Operate a legitimate plumbing business in the United States
• Hold a valid state plumbing or contractor licence where required by your state
• Carry appropriate liability insurance
• Have authority to enter into legally binding contracts on behalf of your business

We reserve the right to verify these requirements and to refuse or remove listings that do not meet them.

3. 7-Day Free Trial

Trial Terms

• The free trial is available to new subscribers only — one trial per business entity
• To start a trial, you must provide valid payment details. Your card will not be charged during the trial period
• On Day 8, your subscription automatically converts to a paid monthly plan at $18.99/month unless you cancel before the trial ends
• If you cancel before the trial period ends, your listing will be removed and no charge will be made
• PlumberArchive reserves the right to end or modify the free trial offer at any time for new sign-ups, without affecting trials already in progress

4. Payment Terms

Billing Cycle

After the 7-day free trial, your subscription renews automatically every 30 days at $18.99. Your billing date is set to the date your paid subscription began (Day 8 of the trial).

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We accept all major credit and debit cards. By providing payment details, you authorise us to charge your card on the recurring billing date until you cancel.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will make up to three retry attempts over 7 days. If payment is not collected, your listing may be suspended. You will receive email notifications of any payment failures. To update your payment method, please contact us at seid@plumberarchive.com.

Pricing Changes

We may change the subscription price with at least 30 days' written notice by email. Your continued use of the service after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the new price applies.

Taxes

Prices are listed in US dollars. You are responsible for any applicable taxes in your jurisdiction. Where required by law, we may collect and remit sales tax on your subscription.

5. Cancellation Policy

How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing us at seid@plumberarchive.com with your business name and the email address on your account. We will confirm cancellation within 2 business days.

Effect of Cancellation

• Your listing will remain active until the end of your current paid billing period
• After that date, your listing will be removed from plumberarchive.com
• No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a paid billing period
• If you cancel during the 7-day free trial, no charge will be made and your listing will be removed immediately upon cancellation

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for subscription payments already made, except where required by applicable law. If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will investigate.

Reactivation

If you cancel and wish to relist your business at a later date, you may subscribe again at the then-current price. The free trial is not available upon reactivation.

6. Listing Content & Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all information you provide for your listing, including business name, contact details, service descriptions, service areas, and any images or links.

You warrant that:

• All information provided is true, accurate, and not misleading
• You hold all required licences and insurance as stated
• You have the right to use any images or trademarks submitted
• Your listing does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights

We reserve the right to edit, supplement, or remove any listing content that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, or in violation of these Terms.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PlumberArchive to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent business information
• List a business you do not own or have authorisation to represent
• Submit or solicit fake reviews or testimonials
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the site in an automated manner without our written consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the site or its servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your listing without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

The PlumberArchive website, including its design, code, content, graphics, and trademarks, is the exclusive property of PlumberArchive and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

By submitting content for your listing (business descriptions, photos, etc.), you grant PlumberArchive a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display and reproduce that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the directory service.

You retain all ownership of content you submit. This licence ends when your listing is removed.

9. Disclaimers

PlumberArchive is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times
• Any specific number of leads, calls, or customers will result from a listing
• Information provided by listed businesses is accurate or up to date
• The site will rank in any particular position in search engine results

PlumberArchive does not endorse, guarantee, or vouch for any plumbing business listed on the site. Homeowners use listing information at their own risk. We strongly encourage homeowners to independently verify licences, insurance, and reputation before hiring any contractor.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PlumberArchive and its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of revenue, profits, customers, or business opportunities
• Loss or corruption of data
• Damages arising from reliance on information provided in listings
• Damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service

In all cases, our maximum aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to PlumberArchive in the 3 months immediately preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PlumberArchive and its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the service
• Your listing content or business information
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or third-party right
• Any dispute between you and a homeowner or other third party

12. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. You may cancel as described in Section 5. We may suspend or terminate your listing immediately, without notice or refund, if:

• You violate any provision of these Terms
• We believe your listing contains false, misleading, or unlawful content
• Payment is not received after reasonable retry attempts
• We discontinue the service (in which case, we will provide at least 30 days' notice where practical)

Upon termination, your listing will be removed from plumberarchive.com. Sections 8, 9, 10, 11, and 13 of these Terms survive termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the applicable courts.

Before initiating any formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at seid@plumberarchive.com to resolve the matter amicably.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The updated Terms will also be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the service after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must cancel your subscription before the effective date.
